An unexpected actor appeared in the photo of the cast of the fifth season of Stranger Things
Production at Stranger Things Season 5 is finally picking up steam! However, a new photo of the cast hints at the surprise return of the Netflix series.
Stranger Things You’ve officially started filming the final season. To celebrate the long-awaited reunion, a new photo of the cast was released on social media. Interestingly, the photo seems to confirm a surprise return for season five. In particular, it looks like Sadie Sink will be reprising her role as Max Mayfield:
Max is a fan favorite though Stranger Things character, many fans expected the character to miss the show’s final season. In the fourth season, the character Sadie Sink was brutally wounded by Vecna, and she was described by the series creators, the Duffer Brothers, as “brain dead, blind, and all her bones broken.” Given this description, it’s unclear what role she’ll play in Season 5, although the start of the latest installment in Netflix’s biggest franchise is certainly a pleasant surprise!

Details regarding Stranger Things Season five is currently under lock and key on Netflix. Jim Hopper actor David Harbor recently mentioned that he is preparing to film a season alongside the Marvel series. Thunderbolts, since both productions are based in Georgia. Both productions are currently on hold due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.
Stranger Things was created by Matt and Ross Duffer. The two also executive produce the series along with Shawn Levy, Dan Cohen, Brian Wright, Cindy Holland, Jessica Mecklenburg, Matt Thunell, Karl Gajdusek, Ian Paterson and Curtis Gwynne.
