After Jannik Sinner’s victory in the Australian Open final, the top half of the ATP men’s rankings did not change significantly. Novak Djokovic (9,855 points) continues to lead the list despite being eliminated in the semi-finals, costing the Serbian a 1,200-point drop. Carlos Alcaraz (9255), eliminated in the quarterfinals, retains second place, followed in third by Daniil Medvedev (8765), who would have surpassed the Murcian if he had beaten Sinner in the final. For his part, the Italian tennis player (8310), who won his first Grand Slam this Sunday, remains fourth in the rankings, but is well behind Andrey Rublev (5050), who is fifth on the list.

Changes occurred in the second part of the Top 10. While Alexander Zverev (5030) retained sixth place, Stefanos Tsitsipas (3025) dropped from seventh position to tenth. Holger Rune (3685) took advantage of the Greek’s fall to take seventh place, while Hubert Hurkacz (3540) also moved up a step to take eighth place. Taylor Fritz (3195) moved up three spots and remains in ninth place in the classification. On the other hand, Rafael Nadal dropped to 649th place.
