Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld’s romantic date in the City of Love took a turn for the worse after the NFL star suffered a butt-exposing wardrobe malfunction.
Buffalo Bills Quarterback took up on Wednesday to explain why he was seen running from his car into his hotel without stopping for waiting fans.
“My pants tore during dinner 😟🤣,” he said. “I didn’t want to puff out my cheeks… I love Paris 😁.”
The admission comes after the hunky 27-year-old was criticized online for leaving Seinfeld behind as he ran into the building.
In a video posted to TikTok, Allen, who had a jacket tied around his waist, ran out of the car without offering Steinfeld, 27, any help.
Instead, one of the Edge of Seventeen star’s friends helped the actress out of the car as she headed into the hotel a few steps behind the footballer.
The couple, who were first romantically linked in May 2023, opted for black, while the “Love Myself” singer added a little sparkle with a sparkly handbag and matching skirt.
The ultra-private couple also coordinated looks earlier in the day at the Miu Miu party. Although Steinfeld sat front row at the brand’s Paris Fashion Week show, Allen joined her later in the evening.
The NFL star looked stylish in brown straight-leg pants with a matching jacket and a white Prada shirt underneath.

Steinfeld, for her part, opted for a long leather trench coat, a brown miniskirt and a plaid button-down shirt, which she paired with strappy black heels and a black belt with gold hardware.
While the lovebirds haven’t shared details about their romance, sources told People magazine last month that things are getting very “serious” between them.
“They always planned to spend more time together after the season ended,” an insider told the publication. “Things are going very well.”
“They are both very family-oriented and driven, and they want to protect their relationship and keep it private. “They were on the same page with it all.”
Page Six confirmed the pair were in talks in May after sources told us they were seen “kissing” during a 17-course omakase dinner.
“They were definitely making out… It wasn’t platonic,” we were told at the time.
Two months later, the couple were spotted packing on the PDA during a hot vacation in Mexico.
Despite her busy schedule, Steinfeld also traveled to Buffalo, New York several times to cheer on her lover.
The actress was even seen hanging out with the quarterback’s mom around town before one of Allen’s games.
