The Cabanillas del Campo City Council has put out to tender, with a starting budget of more than 281,000 euros, works to repair, renovate and modernize up to eight areas of swings and children’s games in the town, located in different neighborhoods. The objective is to improve the quality of municipal children’s play areas, repairing damage, removing very old elements, and providing these playgrounds with more modern mechanisms, adapted to current safety regulations.
Specifically, playgrounds located in Buero Vallejo Park, Joaquin Turina street (“del Soti” Park), Camino de Quer street (entrance to the Fair area) will be renovated; Juan Rhodes Street (Wall Park); Valdehondillo and Carramonte streets (in the Campo de Golf area); and two children’s areas in the Soto neighborhood: the one in the green area that separates this neighborhood from the Mirador, and the small playground that is located on Fray Luis de León street.
The tender has already been published on the State Contracting Portal, and companies interested in taking over the job can submit their offers until January 26. At that time, the City Council Contracting Board will proceed to award the work, and after signing the contract, the chosen company will have a period of four months to carry out the eight planned actions.
