What is the new double date button on WhatsApp?

WhatsApp is the world’s number one instant messaging app with over 2 billion users worldwide. There are many reasons why Meta app has reached this position, but one of them is that they are constantly updating themselves to offer the best possible product to their users.

This platform is designed to allow users to communicate with each other in every possible way, from messages, photos, voice notes to calls and video calls. While we don’t think the app can offer more in this aspect, Meta is working to improve the communication experience in all aspects.

Following this line, WhatsApp has simplified the process of sending messages with the introduction of a new action button that appears next to a file shared in a chat to directly access the conversation list by tapping on it.

WhatsApp users can forward messages and channel updates between chats, albeit with restrictions to avoid “spamming”, so it appears when a message has been “forwarded many times”. Until now, you had to click on the message you want to share and click on the icon with an arrow pointing to the right.

However, this action has now been simplified thanks to a new button introduced in the application. Shown here is the new design: two arrows instead of one pointing to the right. In addition to opening in the menu that appears when you click on a message, it also appears next to the multimedia file in the chat itself.

This double date button allows you to quickly share this file. as it saves the user from the intermediate step of selecting it and automatically opens the conversation list so that he can select the recipient.

If you don’t see this new button, you may not have the latest version of WhatsApp installed yet, so you should check if you have the latest update. If you have it, but have not yet appeared, then its appearance is only a matter of time.
