Recounting the work accomplished during his four years in office, in his recent Christmas message, the President of the Republic, Alejandro Giammattei, highlighted the achievements achieved in the fields of education, security and the economy as engines driving the development of the nation: among other important aspects.

Regarding educational coverage, it should be noted that achieving a net increase in the country as a whole, which amounted to 95.41 percent at the primary level and 64.37 percent at the pre-school level, means the joint work of all institutions responsible for this area.

In this regard, we cannot fail to mention the current administration’s prioritization of various social programs, such as the consolidation of school meals, supplies and free services, in addition to the creation of a health insurance system from which each of them has benefited more. of 3 million students.

From a security point of view, the development of the Police Transformation Strategy stands out, the dignity of which guarantees the protection and safety of citizens. But without a doubt, one of the standout results was the 4.44 percentage point drop in the homicide rate compared to 2019.

Finally, the President noted the economic revitalization being strengthened day by day through programs such as Sello Blanco, which has promoted entrepreneurship throughout the country and contributed to the creation of more than 300 enterprises to combat poverty and unemployment.
