Have you ever heard the hypothesis that the entire universe and creation is actually a simulation? It may seem crazy, but science is still exploring this claim that an expert has something to share.

In science, there are an endless number of hypotheses that try to express how life itself works, the laws that govern the Universe, the physics that underlies all the order and chaos that exists in everything.

However, some of these theories are more realistic than others, some others are only proven in theory but not in practice, and there are still others that only work in the minds of scientists.

Recently, University of Portsmouth physicist Melvin Wopson has revived one of the craziest theories ever put forward by the scientific community.

The theory that the universe is a simulation is a belief that has become the basis of discussions in the scientific community trying to prove or disprove this idea.

This idea of a simulated universe expresses the belief that the entire universe and everything in it, including us, is a carefully programmed computer simulation where the physical and chemical laws that govern us are just very advanced programming.

To this end, the scientist in charge of this controversial study argues that there are flaws and patterns in our reality that can be looked for in the physical laws that surround us, but the problem is that no one knows how to use the laws of nature to find these flaws in reality. reality.

This study, published in the scientific journal The Conversation, has attracted the attention of the scientific community, and it is not surprising: can you imagine what it would mean for our Universe and life in general to be a simulation?

The possibilities seem endless, however, this concept has been strongly refuted by many in the same scientific community, who claim that this theory is actually a statement that is very far from reality.

However, Wopson tried to give weight to this new research using the same laws of nature. In this case, he uses two to try to explain his research: the second law of thermodynamics, which talks about entropy, and the second law of dynamics, infodynamics.

Wopson began using the second law of thermodynamics, entropy, which deals with the energy the universe does not use to do its work and where that energy remains since it cannot simply disappear.

Unfortunately, Vopson did not have much luck with this law, so he decided to use another law of nature – the second law of infodynamics.

In the second attempt, Wopson explains that like any computer simulation we know, the system needs updates and an algorithm capable of running the simulation, stating that this is something we see every day in nature, even in technology and computing.

Many hypotheses have been proposed regarding the idea that the universe is in fact a simulation, and while this research seems promising, a lot of support is still needed to give weight to this claim, which could change the course of life forever.
