Demi Lovato and fiance Jordan “Yuts” Lutes wear matching pajamas for their first Christmas together
Demi Lovato and Jordan “Juts” Lutz are celebrating their first Christmas together as an engaged couple.
The “Cool for the Summer” singer took to Instagram on Tuesday to show off how she spent the holidays with her fiancé.
Lovato shared a series of selfies and family photos with the alt/rock singer, including one of the couple’s twins in matching pajama sets, and more homemade cookies and pies.
“Best Christmas ever,” Lovato captioned the post, while Jutes chimed in in the comments section: “First Christmas (with) my future wife and new family. Love you”.
On Tuesday, Jutes also took to Instagram to post his own photos of the couple’s Christmas celebrations, including several of their gifts, such as a cameo from OfficeBrian Baumgartner, several Olive Garden gift cards and office-thematic deck of Uno cards.
“First American Christmas,” the Canadian singer wrote. “I (don’t) take a lot of photos so I’m enjoying the Christmas jam consisting mostly of me, Demi, the dogs and Kevin Malone. My heart is very full.”
Lovato’s mother, Dianna De La Garza, commented on her future son-in-law’s post, writing, “Sooo glad you got to experience your first American Christmas with us!!!!”
The former Disney Channel star previously told People that her current fiancé flew home to Canada for the holidays in 2022. “He’s from Ottawa, so he flew out there last year,” Lovato shared. “This year is our first Christmas together. His mom is going to join us, so I’m really excited about that.”
The couple’s engagement is recent, as Youtes asked Lovato to marry him just two weeks ago, on December 16th. The couple announced the proposal via Instagram, with Lovato proudly showing off her diamond ring in a series of photos.
Lovato and Jutes met in early 2022 while working on her rock album. HOLY FVCC and started dating later that year.
“I can’t imagine my life without you, and thank God, now I’ll never have to,” Youts wrote at the time. “Now I feel like the happiest person in the world. I love you so much”.
