We are accustomed to using everything available in our smartphone. In recent years, the number of applications that allow you to protect yourself from calls of this type has not ceased to grow. However, what happens if we get calls to our landline? Is it possible to protect yourself from them? The National Police used your account X to remind us that it is indeed possible to carry out such actions. However, we must keep in mind that there is an important limitation: we must know the corresponding number in order to proceed with blocking it. We’ll tell you how to do it.

As soon as we press this key combination, a message will automatically appear explaining that we have enabled the call blocking service and will provide us with a series of options that we must enter from the phone keypad.

The number we have to press may vary. Although this is usually number 3, it is always a good idea to pay attention to the recording to avoid repeating this process because we didn’t listen to the instructions well.

Once we have marked the corresponding key, the next step we must perform is to enter full number which we want to block. As we previously assumed, we cannot unblock all numbers that are suspected of being spam. Therefore, we will have to limit each of them individually. Fortunately, currently many landlines We can find a small screen that tells us the exact number that is trying to contact us, so identifying the number is very easy.

When we enter a number, we must first dial international prefix. If the number is from Spain, we will need to enter the prefix 34 and then the corresponding number. When we are finished, we must also press the # key to confirm that we are finished.

It is important to know that we can block as many numbers as we want, as long as they are separated from each other by the # button. Having gone through all the stages, we can be sure that at least these numbers will definitely stop calling us.
