However, there is another promising possibility for the Scarlet Witch character, and it involves the creation of the Mutant and the MCU version of the X-Men.
Fans have speculated that, like many Marvel comics, Wanda Maximoff may be revealed to be a mutant so that she can then join the X-Men’s Mutant Saga. Secret Wars:

Given that in some versions of comic book continuity where Wanda Maximoff is the daughter of Magneto/Erik Lehnsherr himself, condensing the MCU into a single continuity post-Secret Wars could definitely see the mutant (or mutant-adjacent) Scarlet Witch.
In addition, many WandaVision additional projects are in development, as is the upcoming Agatha: The Darkhold Diaries Disney+ Original Show (formerly Agatha: Clan of Chaos And Agatha: House of Harkness) with Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness and heartbeat stars Joe Locke as (presumably) Billy Maximoff/Billy Caplan, Wanda’s son and the Marvel comics superhero Wiccan.
Additionally, under the direction of Paul Bettany Vision Quest and even rumors Witch Road A Marvel Studios special is also said to be in the works, making the possibility of Olsen returning all but inevitable.
The world of comic book movies will likely see Scarlet Witch return in a solo film – but when and where is up to Marvel Studios and Disney to decide.
