Emma Stone applies for ‘Jeopardy’ every year

Emma Stone wants to be on Danger! Badly. The 35-year-old actress says she applies every June but isn’t saying anything yet.

Poor things the star expressed her desire during Diversity‘s Awards Circuit Podcast. The topic came up when senior editor and award presenter Clayton Davis mentioned that he had a “treasure trove of useless facts” that he said could one day help Stone if she ever continues Danger!

“This is my favorite show,” she interjected. “This is my dream. You know, I apply every June. I never get (invitations).”

The newly minted Golden Globe winner then laid out one caveat for what to do next. Danger!

“Sorry, I don’t want to continue Celebrities are in danger! “I really want to earn my rewards,” she insisted. – I would like to continue to work for real. Danger! But you have to take the test, and you can only take it once a year using your email address. So every June I take a test and they don’t tell you how you did. They just say, “We’ll let you know in the next 9 to 12 months if you’re on the show.” And guess what? I wasn’t on the show.”

In the meantime, she obediently prepares as any other discerning person would: by watching.

“I watch it every night and mark how many answers I get right,” she said. “And I swear I can go on Danger!

Meanwhile, Stone is fully immersed in awards season. Just last week she took home the Golden Globe for Best Performance by a Female Actress in a Motion Picture, Musical or Comedy for her work in Poor things. Stone’s big hit came with a standing ovation from none other than her friend Taylor Swift. hell of a reaction from Stone afterwards.

“What an a** hole,” Stone joked about supporting his longtime friend in the winners’ lounge. “I’ve known her for almost 20 years so I was really happy she was there and she was nominated tonight too which was great. So yeah, what an a** hole.”
