After saying she “strongly disagree” at first, she decided to change her answer to “disagree” and explained her reasoning to Ruffalo, who ultimately followed suit with his own compelling arguments.

“Because Ginger Spice is incredible,” Stone said, before adding that choosing “the ultimate Spice Girl is crazy.”

The producer then asked the couple if they had a secret favorite Spice Girl.

When Stone begins to give an honest answer, Ruffalo interrupts her and replies that his favorite is none other than Posh Spice.

‘Really? Bend like Beckham,” Stone said, surprised by his answer.

“It says a lot about you,” Ruffalo admits.

“I believe in everything,” Stone continued. “You may have a favorite, a personal favorite, not to mention the best.”

The pair are then asked, “as best friends”, who they think the other person’s Spice Girls person would be.

Playing off his Marvel superhero character, Stone replies that Ruffalo would be “Hulk Spice.”

He said she would be Sporty Spice, to which she expressed her concern and asked, “Sporty Spice?” Are you crazy?’

“No, you’re Posh Spice,” Ruffalo responded, which Stone said was “very rude.”

They eventually agreed that they were both “multi-faceted” and a combination of the five Spice Girls, before joking that they would be called All Spice.

During the episode, the couple was also asked about their favorite Shrek movies, their feelings on Naked Desire and their love of Brussels sprouts.

They also revealed that they share the belief that eating McDonald’s while abroad is necessary, something they often enjoyed while filming Troubled Things in Hungary.
