This Sunday afternoon, December 31st, sad news spread on social networks. This was confirmed to Swing Completo by sources close to the player. However, to the delight of Cuban baseball fans, the situation did not escalate.
“I have just been informed that Santiago’s first base coach and hitting coach, Pedro Poll, is at the Cardiac Center in Santiago de Cuba.”, wrote Facebook user Jesus Gabriel Peña, a well-known member of the group Avispas de Santiago de Cuba.
“Everything seems to indicate that he suffered a heart attack last night.”– added the above-mentioned user.
