Google Photos wants to keep your gallery from looking like a dump, so it will hide screenshots and memes.

New to Google Photos is the feature you want to use to declutter your gallery.. Of course, the way to do this may be too radical. The app serves as a virtual gallery where you can upload photos and videos to store them in the cloud, usually filled with content that, unfortunately, was automatically downloaded.

Controlling what’s saved in Google Photos is difficult, and the selection of images uploaded to the cloud is done through folders. These folders can contain both WhatsApp images and screenshots or memes saved from the browser.

Google Photos wants to eliminate the clutter in your gallery by hiding screenshots and memes

The main problem with not properly managing this type of image is that Google Photos is overloaded and there is no space to save photos it’s really worth it. Typically, memes are sent in image format in WhatsApp conversations, less and less thanks to stickers, which are usually stored in Google Photos.

Google wants to put an end to this situation and is working on a new feature for its gallery app. This new product was discovered by the user AssembleDebug. @AssembleDebug V Google Photos version 6.79.0.624777117.

The feature that Google is developing is called “Hide Clutter,” which can be translated as “Hide the Clutter.” The functionality will allow you to hide both screenshots and memes and even GIF files downloaded to the device. All this for the purpose of organizing a gallery.

Obviously, these images will not disappear. Users will be able to see them, but they will have to log into the Google Photos folders section to do so. In this section you will find screenshots, memes and GIFs saved on your device.

It’s amazing that Google Photos is working on this new feature and seems to be aiming to give users more control over what they store on their device. Taking this into account, now we can only wait for the release of a stable version of the application.
