Hunter Biden was found guilty on Tuesday of three counts of lying about his drug use when purchasing a gun.
A jury in the US state of Delaware found President Joe Biden’s son guilty after a week of witness testimony and evidence presented in a criminal trial.
Hunter Biden declared guilty on all three counts He faced this after the jury deliberated for about three hours.
The first charge was for making a false statement to obtain a gun, the second charge was for making a false statement to obtain a weapon on record, and the third charge was for illegal possession of a gun.

All of the charges against him relate to his purchase of a revolver at a Delaware gun store in October 2018, a weapon he possessed for about 11 days.

The two false statement charges stem from allegations that he lied about drug use on a federally required form when he purchased a gun.
Specifically, prosecutors alleged that he falsely represented that he was “not an unlawful user of or addicted to any stimulant narcotic” when he purchased a Colt Cobra Special revolver.
The third charge related to possessing a firearm while allegedly using drugs.
The gun was discarded and found in a container near a grocery store in Greenville, Delaware, launching an investigation that eventually led investigators to Form and Hunter Biden.
