After a long wait, From Software has finally shared gameplay and release date from Shadow of Airdtree, a DLC that will expand the base adventure through the Middle Lands. However, despite the fact that this is the most exciting news for fans of the part, Hidetaka Miyazaki is already considering his next steps. And that implies development of a new game.
No, nothing has been officially announced yet. However, there are reasons to celebrate; In an interview provided Famitsu, during which some of the new features of Shadow of the Erdtree were detailed, Miyazaki expressed his desire to start development from scratch. To the question “do you have a desire to do another game on the scale of Elden Ring?”, the creative responded with the following: “Yes. Eat. I don’t know if I can start working on this right now, but If it’s allowed I’d like to try it“.
“I’m sure all the staff feel the same way, but I want take advantage of the experience I gained working on Elden Ring.
