Israeli military says France helped defend against Iranian attack

France participated militarily in the destruction of a large number of drones directed by Iran against Israel and cooperated very directly in the concept of the Israeli “shield” which made it possible to prepare an effective response against an Iranian attack. Official Israeli sources have confirmed this direct military support. Many French military analysts describe the various “fronts” of cooperation quite accurately.

They exchanged and provided Israel with sensitive information from the French embassies in Paris and the Middle East, which was very useful for “anticipating” an attack and taking response measures. The French military satellite network provided Israel with vital strategic information about Iran’s “intentions” and ultimately prepared the Israeli response.

French Air Force units regularly patrolling between the Black Sea and the eastern Mediterranean provided sensitive information to the French government, which was also transmitted in real time to Israel. Several Iranian drones were intercepted/destroyed directly from French bases in Iraq and Jordan.

Emmanuel Macron, for his part, acknowledged a few days ago, that the aircraft carrier “Charles-de-Gaulle”, masterpiece of the French Resistance, will be under NATO command during a fifteen-day mission, “within the framework of Commitment “France’s transatlantic shipping faces threats from Russia.” Cooperation that has allowed and will allow “mutual support” with Washington, which has several naval units deployed in the Eastern Mediterranean as a “deterrent”, but with the capability of immediate action and response.

In Tehran, the Iranian Foreign Ministry summoned the ambassadors of France, the United Kingdom and Germany on Sunday morning to protest against the statements and behavior of European allies following the launch of Iranian drones and missiles.

Following that call, Emmanuel Macron personally reaffirmed France’s “complete solidarity” with Israel, without giving specific details of its diplomatic and military reach.

Fearing a worsening of the crisis, the French Foreign Ministry, Quai d’Orsay, published a statement late on Sunday morning asking French residents in Iran to “temporarily leave” the country for these reasons: “Due to” Given the risk of military escalation, it is advised that French residents temporarily leave Iran. Utmost caution is urgently required while travelling. “It is imperative to avoid traveling to Lebanon, Israel and the Palestinian territories.”
