It doesn’t convince! Motagua defeats Real Estelí in their last friendly for the Clausura 2023 tournament

With a solitary goal from Eddie HernandezMotagua achieved a 1-0 victory in a friendly match against Real Estelí of Nicaragua.

Many doubts left Motagua this Saturday in their last preparation game against the Pinolero team.

The only goal of the game would come at minute 15, after a foul committed on Carlos Mejía, who quickly played the ball with Jonathan Núñez who crossed with perfection so that Eddie Hernández scored with a chopped header into the rival goal.

The match between Nicaraguans and Hondurans was extended to 120 by mutual agreement to test all their players in a game that was merely preparation for the upcoming tournament.

In the extra 30 minutes, Motagua endorsed another goal through his brand new Argentine reinforcement Lucas Campana.

NEW SIGNINGS

All the new additions to Deep Blue entered the second half. Edwin Maldonado, Pin Gutiérrez, Kevin Álvarez and the expected debut of Lucas Campana.

The Argentine took advantage of the extra minutes to make his debut in the cyclone outfit after passing through the Marathon.

Motagua will debut in the Clausura 2022-23 tournament next Saturday, January 21, against the UPNFM.
