Josh Allen’s two-word tip for attending the Oscars with Hailee Steinfeld

While the Buffalo Bills are out of the Super Bowl, quarterback Josh Allen is touring Las Vegas. Allen has made it clear in several interviews that he would rather be in the big game than talk about it.

Speaking with Kay Adams on her Up & Adams live show on February 9, Allen talked about his friendship with Formula One driver Daniel Ricciardo, who is also in Las Vegas. “That’s my guy, I love Danny,” Allen said.

Allen arrived at Highmark Stadium last month wearing a Sherpa jacket from Riccardo’s Enchanté clothing line. Within minutes, the $215 fleece sold out. Adams cleverly used this information to gain details about his relationship with Hailee Steinfeld.

Steinfeld’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is up for best animated feature at the 96th annual Academy Awards next month. “Are you going to wear Enchanté to the Oscars next month?” Adams asks.

“I can,” Allen replies.

Enchanté doesn’t make suits and ties, so Allen will likely have to shop elsewhere for his Oscars outfit. Fans were hoping to see the Bills star and his girlfriend make their red carpet debut at the NFL Awards on February 8th. However, at the last minute, Allen decided to skip the ceremony. Instead, I joined the Barstool Sports team for a trivia night.

While Allen’s response was vague, it appears he plans to join Steinfeld at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles on March 10.

Hailee Steinfeld spent most of the season on Josh Allen’s team in Buffalo.

Allen and Steinfeld have kept a low profile since they first started dating in May. Although she shuns the jumbotron, the Oscar-nominated actress attended nearly every Bills game last season, both home and away.

During the longest strike by film and television actors, she spent most of the NFL season in Buffalo. Ahead of the Bills’ Week 4 game, she went shopping with Lavonne Allen, Josh’s mother, to buy some Bills gear. During the Bills-Jaguars game in London, the Pitch Perfect star sat next to Ricciardo at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Shortly after, Allen and Steinfeld made their first public appearance together at a Buffalo Sabers home game in October.

Steinfeld celebrated her 27th birthday with Allen in December, which coincided with the Bills’ annual holiday party. Although Steinfeld missed the Bills’ regular season finale because she was performing at the Golden Globes, she returned to Buffalo for the Wild Card round.

While walking the awards ceremony’s red carpet, Steinfeld successfully dodged engagement rumors. To the question: “What is it about a sports man?” She replied: “Listen, what are we talking about? Come on.”

Josh Allen spends the offseason in Southern California, not far from Hailee Steinfeld

Allen told Adams that he came to Las Vegas from Los Angeles, which led the host to ask why he came to Los Angeles. “I live here!” Allen replied. Last offseason, Allen bought a $7.2 million home in Dana Point, an ocean town about 60 miles south of Los Angeles.

Steinfeld lives in Encino, a northwest Los Angeles suburb about 80 miles from Dana Point. She purchased the former John Fogerty home for $8 million in 2021, according to Realtor.com.

As for his off-season plan, Allen, who purchased a hot tub for his new home, said, “The first month or so is usually decompression. Let the body heal. The second part: okay, let’s get in shape a little.” He’s also happy to play a lot of golf.

When he returns to Buffalo to train, the mission to reach the Super Bowl begins again. “We need to find a way to overcome this barrier,” Allen said. “It is not easy.”
