The company acquired a total of five properties in Barcelona with a total area of 75,000 m2. Its goal is to invest more than €200 million to transform these facilities into a “campus dedicated to life sciences and innovation.”
Although the specific amount Stoneshield paid for the property is unknown, the market has estimated the purchase price of the former Mediapro headquarters at €35–40 million. Stoneshield made these acquisitions through Deeplabs, its life sciences and innovation platform. This campus, specializing in science and life sciences, called BaSID (Barcelona Science Innovation District), will see an investment of more than 200 million euros.
