Lady Luck is disappointed with Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion

Lady Luck shared her frustrations with the ongoing feud between two of hip-hop’s hottest leading ladies, Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion.

During a recent interview with Chuck Creekmur of AllHip-HopThe Def Jam veteran said she believes the New York native crossed a line by referencing Hot Girl Meg’s late mother during their public spat.

“I’m (a) diehard Nicki (supporter),” she said. “You already know that. I went to war for Nicky and all that. I think she’s super cool. This momma, this shit stabbed me in the chest. And even if she only said it once. Like, “Bitch, you’re lying on your dead mom.” “It’s a harsh line,” she added, saying she found the “Big Foot” lyrics to be distasteful.”

“But do it like (repeated phrase). You know I love Nicki. I think what they’re saying is that everything in battle rap is fair and that’s why I don’t get into it because that line is gross, man,” she concluded.

Lady Luck, whose mother passed away less than a year ago, expressed her desire for rap battles to focus more on the art of rapping rather than provoking others with inflammatory rhymes.

“What happened to battle rap?” she asked. “I’m not talking about Nicki and Megan now, but about battle rap in general. What happened to you? Better metaphors and all that. It became tea, and who can tell more about the other’s personal matter. And for me this is not rap.”

Nicki has been widely criticized for her handling of the feud, most recently coming under fire for comparing Megan’s shooting to Chris Brown’s infamous attack on then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009.

The Young Money hitmaker also had to deny using cocaine after several social media users accused her of “ranting about cocaine” against her opponent.

Additionally, Roc Nation also noticed Minaj’s disappearance in one of her many social media posts last month.

Meanwhile, Meg’s “Hiss” – the song that started it all – has taken off on the charts, topping the Billboard Hot 100 a few weeks ago. In accordance with Chart dataHouston Hottie and rapper Big Foot are now the only female rappers in history to debut multiple No. 1 songs on the Hot 100.

The song marks Megan’s third chart-topping single, following two 2020 singles: “Savage” with Beyoncé and “WAP” with Cardi B.

Nicki, on the other hand, topped the charts for her verses on Doja Cat’s “Say So” and 6ix9ine’s “Trollz” in 2019 and 2020, respectively, as well as her own solo hit, “Super Freaky Girl,” released in 2023.
