“Never forget what they took from us”: fans still have not forgiven the MCU for removing one episode of Elizabeth Olsen from “Avengers: Infinity War”

However, Scarlet Witch had one of the most powerful and tragic moments of her life. Avengers: Infinity War where she had to protect Vision, who possessed the Mind Stone, from the Black Order. Even though the film features some stunning scenes featuring the actress, fans seem to be unhappy that the MCU removed a key sequence from the film.

Elizabeth Olsen quickly became a fan favorite when she starred as Wanda Maximoff in the MCU. V Avengers: Infinity Warthe pair are attacked by Proxima Midnight and Corvus Glaive in Edinburgh.
As the two battle them, they seem to be no match for the Black Order, and Vision is nearly overwhelmed when Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers appears and saves them, along with Sam Wilson and Natasha Romanoff. However, the extended scene shows Scarlet Witch fighting Proxima Midnight in a cool action sequence (via X).
The scene, which was still in pre-visualization, shows Scarlet Witch fighting Proxima Midnight with her powers. Two stunt doubles replace Elizabeth Olsen and a CGI Proxima as they chase and fight through a long corridor of Edinburgh Castle. The scene featured visuals indicating Olsen’s powers and Midnight’s staff.
Fans outraged by MCU’s removal of tense scene Avengers: Infinity War
At 149 minutes Avengers: Infinity War had one of the longest running times in the MCU. Due to the sheer number of characters present in the film and the galaxy-traveling story, directors Anthony and Joe Russo had to remove certain sequences from the film. Unfortunately, one of the casualties of the cut was Elizabeth Olsen’s tense scene with the Black Order in Edinburgh.
TO deleted scene from Avengers: Infinity War resurfaced online as the film celebrated its sixth anniversary. The scene creates a tense atmosphere as Wanda and Vision hide after the latter is shot by the Black Order. Olsen waits silently as Proxima Midnight stands on the bridge and slams her staff on the ground to intimidate the heroes.
Many fans appreciated the horror-themed episode and how it created suspense. The scene then leads to a confrontation between the characters, which ultimately leads to Captain America’s heroic appearance. Fans were disappointed with the MCU’s decision to cut the scene as it added to the dark atmosphere of the film.

They weakened the Hulk and the vision, so in Infinity War and Endgame I will always be angry about it.
Hulk fought one fight and got hit without a rematch.
Vision was stabbed once and could barely walk for the rest of the movie, and then he was killed… twice!

Bye Avengers: Infinity War remains an MCU classic and a pop culture landmark, the team has already filmed several scenes that would have made it that much better. The film still earned over $2 billion at the box office (via Box Office Mojo).
