While many were immersed in the celebrations, some chose to do last-minute shopping on December 31st or even January 1st. Therefore, we inform you that it is important to keep in mind that on these specific days, stores may change their opening hours. Below we provide details of the opening hours of major retailers such as WalmartCostco, Target, Sam’s Club and others.

It should be noted that in this year 2023, December 31st fell on a Sunday, marking farewell to the outgoing year. Meanwhile, January 1, 2024, on the contrary, is the beginning of a new year and falls on a Monday. Since the first day of the year is a holiday, you may have to make an urgent trip to the store for household items, essential groceries or medicine.

Lowe: They close at 18:00.
Macy: open from 10:00 to 19:00.

7-Eleven: Open 24/7 (including holidays), but some locations vary.

WHAT ARE THE INSTITUTIONAL ATTENTION HOURS ON JANUARY 1, 2024?

Walmart: open at regular hours.
Publix: They will close early and Publix will post hours before the holidays. In previous years, most stores closed between 19:00 and 21:00.
TJ Max: Most of them will be open from 9:30 to 18:00.
All products: many locations will be open, but hours may vary by location.
Walgreens: Most will be open at normal times, but some stores and pharmacies may close earlier.
NER: Most stores will be open during normal hours, but some stores may be closed or have reduced hours.
