Norwegians explain to a Spanish woman why they like tube food so much: it makes sense

TikTok user @carlanebulosa, a Spaniard living in Norway, explained why this country loves food in a tubewhich in Spain we associate almost exclusively with toothpaste.

“Why do Norwegians love tube food? As a Spaniard living in Norway, I was very amazed when I first walked into a supermarket and saw the shelves. full of cheese, caviar, chicken… everything served in tubes”“,” he explains, showing supermarket shelves full of these products.

“So I started asking Norwegians here and the answer was unanimous: We Norwegians love to exercise outdoors. and you must be practical. Food in tubes allows us to make sandwiches in the middle of the mountain without having to take any utensils with us to spread out or anything,” he notes.

The Spanish woman adds that there are people who even told her that it was “an alternative that is a little easier to recycle” but she admits that she is not 100% sure about this.

“We’re going to do a tasting now and they even have something for kids. We have: bacon and cheese, shrimp and cheese, ham and cheese. Looks like astronaut food or toothpaste, it’s very strange” he describes, before saying, “It’s great, tastes exactly like Philly cheese, very tasty.”

As for the shrimp and cheese, he says it seems like “the strangest mixture”: “They don’t taste like shrimp at all. “It tastes very salty, it tastes like cheese, but it doesn’t taste like shrimp to me.”
