Olimpia starts leading at the start of the Clausura in Honduras and Real Sociedad sinks in the accumulated table

After the beating of Olympia 5-0 in view of Real society on matchday 1, the capital team went down to Royal Spain and is the new leader of the closing tournament.

The team led by Pedro Troglio is at the forefront by adding a +5 goal difference. Real España is second after beating Victoria 4-0 at the Estadio Morazán in San Pedro Sula.

UPN and Honduras Progreso surprised on Saturday, beating Motagua and Vida, respectively, in which they added their first three points of the tournament.

Olancho FC and Marathón added a unit by drawing 2-2 at the Juan Ramón Brevé Stadium in Olancho. While the teams that lost in their debut and did not score were in the lower zone: Motagua in seventh place, Vida in eighth, Victoria is ninth and Real Sociedad in the last position with no points.

UPN conquered three extraordinary points that keep it away from relegation places. The 2-1 against Motagua keeps him in eighth place with 21 points.

Finally, Victoria receives Olancho FC at the Ceibeño Stadium. This duel will begin at 7:30 PM to close day 2 of the Clausura 2023.
