Rockstar employees collect signatures to not return to the office during the final stage of GTA 6

This week it became known that Rockstar addressed his employees return to face-to-face work from April 1 thereby ending the hybrid work model created in April 2022 during the Covid-19 pandemic. The reason is that Grand Craft Auto 6the next part of the series is coming out final stages of development. The developers expressed disagreement with collection of signatures organized by the hunting workers’ union IWBG.

The petition was intended collect 150 signatures, but when it was closed, 176 people were reached and sent to Rockstar Management Department. He asks company managers to maintain their current flexibility by allowing them to choose whether to work from home or in the office.

Stay flexible

The text shows Proud to be part of Rockstar Games UK and emphasizes changes that have occurred in the company to “turn it into more inclusive, understanding and pleasant” including hybrid work or remote work. This also explains that workers they feel left out decide that the work will only be carried out in person from April and ends with a request to listen to them and this flexibility remains.

Possibly in 2025

At the moment it is known that the game takes place in modern Vice City, a fictional version of Miami (Florida) in which they will star two main characters, Jason and Lucia, who, as usual in the series, will participate in robberies and other criminal activities. GTA 6 release is expected in sometime in 2025 although there is no specific date yet. Rockstar stated that the game will not be released “until it is creatively optimized.” It will be released on PS5, Xbox Series and PC.
