At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2024 in Las Vegas, held from January 9 to 12, Samsung Electronics introduced its BESPOKE home appliances, which provide greater user convenience through improved connectivity and the integration of artificial intelligence. With sleek designs and the latest AI features, BESPOKE appliances offer futuristic style and added functionality for the modern, tech-savvy home.
Samsung News visited the Home Experience Zone at Samsung’s CES booth to learn more about the advanced AI capabilities in its BESPOKE line of home appliances.
Smart food management that goes beyond storage

One of the main attractions of this part of the stand was Custom Flex™ 4-Door Refrigerator with AI Family Hub™+, 2024 (1), which wowed visitors with its unique features such as the AI Vision Inside feature. Visitors were able to look inside and learn about the product’s internal chambers, which record food storage time and expiration dates. If one of the products is nearing its expiration date, AI Vision Inside sends notifications to users and suggests recipes via Samsung Food.

Many visitors expressed a desire to reduce the amount of wasted food in refrigerators and admitted that from time to time they forget food in the refrigerator. “I love the concept and setup,” said one visitor. “This is very useful because I always find expired vegetables in my refrigerator.”

Visitors saw a demonstration of the interconnection of appliances and devices, which helped them feel less stressed about multitasking at home and made their lives easier. For example, if the phone rings while users are cooking, they can answer the call from the Anywhere induction cooktop screen without having to pick up their smartphone.

Additionally, if the doorbell rings while the user is doing laundry, an alert is sent to the panel of the BESPOKE AI™ washer-dryer combination, ensuring that they do not miss any visitors into their home.

BESPOKE’s AI-powered cleaning features

Understanding that users want devices that clean efficiently and quickly, Samsung introduced the BESPOKE line of vacuum cleaners. Visitors tested BESPOKE Jet™ AI on various types of surfaces such as carpets and hard floors to evaluate its intelligent surface detection capabilities. Attendees also learned about the BESPOKE Jet Bot AI Combo™, which features steam cleaning and advanced AI object recognition for smarter, easier cleaning.

Joining Samsung’s line of smart home appliances, BESPOKE AI™ Washer and Dryer Combo invited visitors to take a look at the operation of an all-in-one laundry. They were introduced to several useful features of this compact device, including AI OptiWash™ and AI Optimal Dry, which use sensors to effectively wash clothes.

The foil heating coil, an industry first, ensures even cooking regardless of where the pot or pan is placed on the stove. AI Cook Manager technology detects boiling liquid and automatically adjusts settings to prevent spills and messes.
In addition, Samsung demonstrated how appliances such as the Anyplace induction cooktop, slide-out range and BESPOKE oven work (2) They can prepare meals correctly and safely with minimal intervention, giving users peace of mind by leaving the room briefly while preparing food. After cooking is complete, the applicationarato automatically sends a notification to your TV or washing machine (3).

In addition to the unique AI Vision Inside feature, many visitors were drawn to the 32-inch screen of the BESPOKE Flex™ 4-Door Refrigerator with AI Family Hub™+ 2024. They saw a demonstration of how the expanded screen can be used to watch all types of content, from step-by-step cooking videos on YouTube or TikTok to your favorite shows on Samsung TV Plus. Moreover, visitors learned how to quickly and easily search for recipe videos using voice commands using Bixby.
Enjoy easy energy savings with artificial intelligence

When it comes to sustainability, even the smallest efforts can make a big difference. Samsung highlighted AI Energy mode and how this unique feature makes it easier to save energy. Visitors learned how this technology monitors energy consumption by analyzing peak and off-peak periods of electricity consumption. Thus, AI Energy mode can automatically turn on appliances to perform certain tasks such as starting a wash cycle, charging a device, etc. outside of peak usage hours (4).
