Sleep cool and relaxed in summer: say goodbye to the heat and then to this new invention.

It is not easy to sleep peacefully in the summer. The heat makes it difficult for us to fall asleep. Not everyone has classic air conditioning in the areas of Spain that have suffered from the heat. There are other alternatives that allow you to stay cool and avoid sweating. More outlandish, yes. From a vest that reduces the temperature at the touch of a button to a T-shirt with a built-in fan. Now there is a new invention: a special blanket that can retain heat on the track and thus achieve a pleasant temperature for rest.

The company behind this product, called Bluvet, is Hilu. It’s a sort of duvet-duvet hybrid made from a fabric that can regulate your body temperature at night. It’s that simple. It works the opposite of a regular duvet. And it’s much cooler than linen. Instead of trapping hot air, it repels it. A sort of unitary air conditioner.

This invention is seeking funding on Kickstarter. Its price starts at $159 (around €149) and is made from Adaptex CoolWeev fabric. It consists of gel fibers woven into yarn to create a durable yet lightweight material. This means the user does not sweat because they do not have to absorb excess heat from the air around their body.

The fabric is able to trap moisture from the air and then release the heat emitted by the body. The blanket attracts this heat and cools it due to its composition, which cools the body before sweating begins. The material is also antimicrobial and hypoallergenic. The company explains that it is machine washable and will last for ten years.
