Cuesta knows the danger he’s putting himself in, but videos seen on his YouTube channel show he always has to tread carefully. ‘Dog’, one of the deer living in the sanctuary, has found himself cornered, and has decided to attack the former presenter.

“It was my fault, I thought I had a way out”

The first thing to say is that it looks like Frank Cuesta is fine after getting his wounds treated, The pictures are shocking, showing the animal pushing her onto a pile of sand and plunging its horn into her stomach. As Cuesta explained in a later video, he managed to remove the antler that was stuck inside him, prevented it from piercing him, and fought off the deer.

Eventually as a result of the fight, he came out badly injured, with many wounds and scratches.
