The Barça Foundation travels to Cadiz to play the second stage of La Liga.

LaLiga Genuine is back and the Barça Foundation will have to travel to Cadiz. The Andalusian city, namely the sports town of Bahia de Cadiz, will host this weekend the second stage of the competition organized by the La Liga Foundation, with the aim of normalizing the practice of football for people with intellectual disabilities. Girona, Tenerife EDI and UD Las Palmas will this time be the opponents of Fundacio Barça in the Inclusion group.

In the first leg, played at the Esportiu Fútbol Salou complex last November, Barça beat Reus and Zaragoza and lost to Sevilla. In Cadiz they will play the first match on Saturday the 3rd at 12:00 with Girona. On the same Saturday at 18:30 they will meet with Tenerife, and on Sunday the 4th at 12 o’clock they will close their participation in the 2nd stage of LaLiga Genuine against Las Palmas.

Tenerife and Getafe

The Fundació Barça Genuine competition will continue in its third phase on the weekend of April 13th and 14th at the Javier Pérez Sports City in Tenerife. Finally, the fourth and final stage of the tournament will take place on June 8th and 9th at the Fernando Santos de la Parra Sports Complex in Getafe.

This is the sixth LaLiga Genuine tournament and the third in which Fundació Barça Genuine will be present. In his first participation, in the 2021/22 season, he was declared champion of the Compañerismo group, and in the 2022/23 season he finished in a respectable seventh place, despite being part of a very difficult group.
