At the end of last year we provided you with a complete list of Xiaomi, Redmi and POCO terminals that will receive HyperOS, a new level of customization for Android that stands out for having completely updated interface with new AI features and with better integration with the rest of the Chinese brand’s products and services.

Well, now, just a few weeks after we learned about the first Xiaomi terminals that will receive HyperOS on the global market, we can confirm what they are. Redmi brand smartphones and tablets that are already receiving this important update.

Nearly a dozen Redmi devices are being updated to HyperOS outside China

Since December last year, the Chinese giant has been releasing an update to HyperOS in several Redmi brand terminals on the global market. This rollout started with the Redmi Note 12S and now the Chinese firm’s new operating system is now available in all smartphones of the Redmi Note 12 and Redmi 12 series, as well as the Redmi Pad tablet.

Below we leave you a list with 8 Redmi devices that are already receiving the HyperOS update worldwide:

  • Redmi 12 (Global ROM)
  • Redmi 12C (Global ROM)
  • Redmi Note 12 4G (Global ROM)
  • Redmi Note 12 5G (European ROM)
  • Redmi Note 12S (Global ROM)
  • Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G (European and Global ROM)
  • Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G (European and Global ROM)
  • Redmi Pad (Global ROM)

Likewise, all indications are that the next Redmi terminals that will receive HyperOS outside of China will be Redmi 13, Redmi Note 13 and Redmi Note 11 in that order, meaning that the latter will close the Redmi update cycle for the global market.

Additionally, you should keep in mind that this HyperOS update is only available users of these Redmi phones registered in the Mi Pilot programso if you have one of these terminals but are not a Xiaomi beta tester, you will still have to wait until you receive the HyperOS update.
