Top Employers awarded 137 companies in Spain for best HR practices

VALENCIA. In 2023, up to 137 companies operating in Spain were certified by Top Employers as “the best employers” and “the most outstanding organizations in their work with people”, an increase of 16% compared to last year.

This is reflected in the results published this Thursday by the Top Employers Institute, which recognized the good performance of 2,300 companies from 121 countries.

This program aims to evaluate the HR practices of participating companies through a survey that is “evidence-based and independently audited.” This analysis covers 6 areas that cover all aspects of human resources and is divided into 20 different topics such as people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition, learning, leadership, diversity, equity, inclusion and well-being, among many others.

Spain’s 137 largest employers come from sectors such as pharmaceuticals, automotive, technology, insurance, consumer goods, energy and banking. With an average of 5,200 employees nationwide and 86,700 worldwide, these companies operate in an average of 54 countries.

In addition, 13 companies from the Top Employers Spain list are part of a select group of 17 companies certified as Top Employers Global. This recognition is received by companies that have certificates in different countries and continents.
