Valencia joins the “Everyone Against Cancer” campaign and the team will wear the “Bracelets of Hope” in the match against UD Almería.

He Valencia joins the campaign “Everyone is against cancer” as part of World Cancer Day, which is celebrated this Sunday, February 4, and the team will wear “Bracelets of Hope” against Almeria this Saturday at 14:00 at the Camp de Mestalla.

The campaign is a collaboration between La Liga and the Spanish Association Against Cancer for World Day. As such, players will wear a green ribbon in support of the fight against the disease, showing football’s commitment to this cause.

A commitment that the Club will reinforce with an invitation to participate in the Valencian CF-UD of Almeria to representatives of the heads of the oncology departments of the Valencian hospitals (Hospital Clínico, Hospital General, La Fe and IMED) and the heads of the Spanish Association against Cancer – Comunitat. Valenciana, the organization with which Valencia Football Club and the VCF collaborate every season for Question Day.

On February 4, World Cancer Day, players from various leagues such as the EA Sports League, Hypermotion League, Endesa League and Plenitude Asobal League will join the Everyone Against Cancer initiative to improve survival rates up to 70% by 2030.

The Bracelets of Hope campaign aims to replace the symbol of mourning with a symbol of hope and survival. The goal is to positivize one of the symbols that most closely accompanies the disease. During the day, the green crepe will become a badge in honor of the lives that will be saved if the 70 percent survival rate that is the goal of the initiative is achieved.
