In the video below from AXS TV, Sammy Hagar and his friend Adam Levine drive around Los Angeles and then perform “I Heard It Through The Grapevine” with Richie Sambora and Orianthi.

Sammy Hagar will be joined on The Best Of All Worlds 2024 tour by rock heavyweights and longtime bandmates Michael Anthony (bass, backing vocals), Jason Bonham (drums) and Joe Satriani (guitar).

The 28-date The Best Of All Worlds Tour, produced by Live Nation and featuring special guests Loverboy, kicks off July 13 in West Palm Beach, Florida and ends August 31 in St. Louis, Missouri. Tickets and more information can be found at RedRocker.com.

The tour follows the smash hit The Collection II, a box set released in October 2023 featuring newly remastered versions of Hagar’s four consecutive No. 1 albums during Van Halen’s era: 5150 (1986), OU812 (1988), For Unlawful Carnal knowledge “(1991) and “Balance” (1995). A reminder to fans of the arsenal of hits, many of which have not been performed live since the band’s 2004 reunion tour. Collectively, Anthony, Satriani and Bonham have played together at nearly every stage of Hagar’s career, including Van Halen, Chickenfoot and The Circle, so fans can expect a setlist based on some of the biggest rock anthems of the last four decades, including: “Finish What You Started”, “5150”, “Your Love Drives Me Crazy”, “Best of Both Worlds”, “Pundcake”, “Sexy Thing”, “One Way to Rock”, “Right Now”, “Enough” good”, “Eagles are flying” and others. They also recruited legendary Australian musician Ray Thistlethwaite on keyboards and backing vocals. The tour represents a unique opportunity to see this band of brothers perform one of the most legendary and hit-packed live performances of their career.

“It’s crazy to think that it will be 20 years since Mikey and I played these songs with Van Halen on the 4th Best of Both Worlds Tour,” Hagar said. “With Joe on board, we can delve deeper into those years. We’re going to touch on some of the hits throughout my career, but the way fans old and new have really embraced the new collection has brought out something about Mikey and me. We were at my birthday party in Cabo when I turned 76, and we looked at each other and high-fived, like, “let’s do this.” We pulled out a couple of them and the fans were immediately excited by our first riffs. The music we created will outlive us all. They deserve to be heard, so it’s time to get out there and bring this music to the fans while we still can.”
