WhatsApp adds filters to better organize chats

To make it easier to find chats, WhatsApp has created filters for Everyone, Unread and Groups.

On Tuesday, WhatsApp announced that it had enabled filters that help users chat more organizedlyFind conversations with contacts faster and navigate messages more efficiently.

To get started, users can select one of three chat filters that will appear at the top of the conversation list: ‘All’, ‘Do not read’ And “Groups”which can be selected with one touch.

In “All” mode, users will see all messages by default, and “Unread” is the “ideal option” when they want to view What conversations do you need to catch up on? or which ones need to be answered, WhatsApp explains.

This last option displays messages that the user has marked as unread or not yet opened.

The Groups filter is a highly requested feature depending on the application. “Now all your group chats will be organized in one place, so you’ll have an easier time finding your favorite meals, whether you’re planning your weekly family dinner or planning your next vacation. This will also include subgroups of communities.”

“Opening WhatsApp and finding the right conversation should be a process fast, smooth and simple. As people do more and more things on WhatsApp, it’s more important than ever to be able to quickly access your messages.”

So these new ones chat filters so that users can do this without having to scroll through their entire inbox, the messaging network summarizes.

The company believes that filters will make people’s stay easier organize and find most important conversations and allow you to navigate through messages more efficiently.

This feature has already started rolling out to users today and will be available to everyone in next weeks.
