Since the advent of artificial intelligence (AI), all digital platforms have tried to incorporate this technology into their features. The latest one is Meta, which has already implemented a new AI button in WhatsApp.

The Mark Zuckerberg-led company intends to use this new feature to manage and moderate so-called green chat groups. This is currently a beta feature called Meta AI.

Meta AI is a set of applications created by the company, although it is currently a separate application, it is designed to work as a conversational assistant in WhatsApp. Meta AI is expected to be integrated directly into the messaging app in the near future, providing users with an even more flexible and intuitive experience.

To start using it, you need to install the latest version of WhatsApp beta, where you will find the Meta AI button to activate it.

After downloading the WhatsApp beta version, open the app and accept the terms of use. It’s important to note that this feature is being rolled out gradually to a limited group of beta testers, so it may not be available immediately.

Meta AI has a series of chatbots specialized in different topics that can help you obtain information and perform various tasks without leaving the application. According to several trade media outlets, some of the available chatbots include: Free Spirit Friend: a chatbot designed for informal and fun communication; Prankster: If you need a dose of humor, this chatbot will surprise you with jokes and one-liners; Big Brother: If you need advice or useful information, this chatbot will become your virtual big brother.

Apart from specialized chatbots, Meta AI also allows you to ask questions on any specific topic without having to resort to Google. Simply by typing “@MetaAI” followed by a question, the assistant will provide you with the information you need.

Other features it will include are quick and easy creation of images and stickers. Right from the WhatsApp sticker selector, you can describe in detail what you want from a sticker, and Meta AI will generate a suitable option.
