Xiaomi unveils new Redmi 2025 smart TVs with 120Hz refresh rate and 4K resolution – Technology

Xiaomi has unveiled its new Redmi Smart TV A50 2025, Redmi TV A55 2025 and Redmi A65 2025 – three models that offer 4K resolution, support a 120Hz refresh rate and provide a maximum brightness of up to 300 nits.
The company shared these products on the website of its crowdfunding program YouPin, where it listed both the specifications and prices of the TVs that will be launched in China for now.
The new Redmi Smart TV 2025 series consists of three models of different sizes (50, 55 and 65 inches), which have the same characteristics, among which the 120 Hz refresh rate stands out and provide content with 4K resolution.
Redmi Smart TV A50, Redmi Smart TV A55 and Redmi Smart TV A65, equipped with a 50-inch display in a metal unibody body, have a screen-to-body ratio of 96.93 percent. In addition, it reproduces Ultra HD quality content with 1.07 million colors and automatically changes the dimming mode of the image depending on its brightness.
As the brand explained on its website, with two speakers delivering “powerful, full highs and deep bass,” this sound system can create a surround sound effect and also supports DTS audio decoding.
Powered by a high-performance quad-core processor, the hardware is configured with 2GB of memory and 32GB of internal storage. In addition, they are based on Xiaomi HyperOS, which makes the TV start up faster and its main applications run smoother.
Additionally, they can be controlled from the Xiaomi Mi Home smart home app, which supports voice command input, as well as the Xiaomi Miaobo app, which allows users to project and play audio from a mobile phone or tablet onto the TV. big screen.
They also allow you to mirror the screen of an iOS or Android phone and are compatible with computers running Windows and Mac OS operating systems. Finally, at the port level, it has two USB, one network, two HDMI and AV inputs.
These TVs are available in China starting at RMB 1,399 (about €181 at current exchange rates) for the 50-inch model, followed by RMB 1,599 (almost €207) for the 55-inch model; and 2199 yuan (about 284 euros) for the 65-inch.
