Yaiza Forcada will talk about the paradigm shift in diabetes treatment offered by Senvelgo

Boehringer Ingelheim will highlight the paradigm shift in the treatment of diabetes in cats with the launch of Senvelgo, a new oral once-daily treatment for the disease. The company invites veterinarians to attend a webinar on Tuesday, February 27 at 2:30 p.m.

Over the course of 60 minutes, participants will review the characteristics of diabetes in cats and examine the challenges that cat caregivers and veterinarians currently face in treating the disease. Those interested can now complete their registration using this link, where they will find all the necessary information.

The purpose of this web-based training will be to introduce Senvelgo, whose innovative mechanism of action will represent a paradigm shift in the treatment and management of diabetes in cats, providing numerous benefits over standard insulin treatment.

The webinar will be presented by Yaiza Forcada, a European specialist in internal medicine. After completing her PhD in feline diabetes, she became a professor of internal medicine at a university and now also works as a general practitioner for VIN, a global community of veterinarians to whom she offers support and training. Yaiza is passionate about feline medicine, with a special interest in feline diabetes mellitus and is actively involved in developing new treatment strategies for the disease.
