The year already began four years ago and the premieres were taking over the movie theaters and platforms. With the Oscars already delivered, the options are renewed for other directions and the release dates of some of the films that generate a lot of expectation are announced.

Fast and Furious X (released May 18)
the tenth film of Fast and Furious It will hit theaters in May. Vin Diesel is back in charge of this story where the cars are the protagonists. This new installment of the saga will be joined by Jason Momoa as the villain on duty, Brie Larson who joins Toretto’s team and Rita Moreno as Dominic’s grandmother. Also will be the already known of the house Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Chris Ludacris Bridges, Jordana Brewster and Sung Kang. This time it will be directed by Louis Leterrier.
Indiana Jones and the Call of Fate (released June 30)
A new adventure comes from the most beloved archaeologist on the big screen. This is the fifth installment of Indiana Jones that brings back the great Harrison Ford to his 80 years. Directed by James Mangold, the film will feature Mads Mikkelsen, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Antonio Banderas, Boyd Holbrook and Shaunette Renée Wilson among others. The last film in the saga had been released in 2008 and took the name of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Mission Impossible 7 (released July 13)
Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One is the full English title of this film that satisfies the cravings of fans of this saga that always needs more and new plots from agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise). The actor who never uses doubles for risk scenes finally got the film to take shape after many interruptions due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the set. Joining Cruise in the cast are Simon Pegg as Benji Dunn, Ving Rhames as Luther Stickell, Rebecca Ferguson as Ilsa Faust, Vanessa Kirby as Alanna Mitsopolis (White Widow), Henry Czerny as Eugene Kittridge and Angela Bassett as Erika Sloane, among others.
Oppenheimer (premiere July 21)
Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders) will give life to J. Robert Oppenheimer, the creator of the atomic bomb in the film directed by Christopher Nolan. The movie is based on the book American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer written by Kai Bird and Martin J. Sherwin. Great expectation revolves around this film that will have the presence of great figures such as Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Robert Downey Jr, Rami Malek, Florence Pugh, Benny Safdie, Josh Hartnett, Dane DeHaan, Jack Quaid among others.
Wonka (premiere December 15)
Before the year begins to say goodbye, a new version of the beloved character Willly Wonka will arrive, which already has two previous versions in the cinema. A first in 1971 starring Gene Wilder and the most recent directed by Tim Burton called Charlie and the Chocolate Factory from 2005 in which Johnny Deep played Wonka. Both films were based on the work of Roald Dahl. Now a new film will arrive with Timothée Chalamet in the role of the chocolatier in his youth. The film will be directed by Paul King (paddington) and will feature Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Olivia Colman and Keegan-Michael Key among others.
