The food delivery company Menulog extended a publicity action with Katy Perry by inventing a “sushi slipper”. The campaign will reward its users with a limited edition of Nike sushi sneakers after using their game on TikTok
Creativity can be inspired by anything and embodied in unusual elements. A recent demonstration of this is the “sushi slippers” that emerged from a campaign by the Menulog company. The food delivery service that operates in Australia and New Zealand surprised its users with a strange customization of the sneakers.
The Menulog service asked shoe customizer Damian Sim for a very particular design: sushi sneakers. Why? The shoe is an extension of the food-inspired dress worn by Katy Perry in her Did Somebody Say campaign with Menulog.

The handmade model recalls a maki roll. The specimen depicts a seaweed-like textured leather wrapper, with a generous serving of “salmon” and a convincing “rice” center. In addition, he has a pair of chopsticks, secured with fishtail loops, and an emergency bag for soy sauce.

How can you buy Sushi’s Nike shoes?
This feast for the eyes can be acquired by fans playing the new Menulog Run game that is available as a lens on TikTok. The game was released to help users pass the time while waiting for their meals. It will be available until February 1.
Players will take on the role of a delivery courier while collecting food. The challenge is to head around the garbage cans along the way. They will then need to upload their recording for a chance to get one of three limited edition pairs. The campaign is produced by the communications agency Connecting Plots. Winners will also receive an annual supply of free sushi.
