Model and content creator Kimberly Loaiza was inspired by a serious health challenge she had to face recently to pursue an ambitious project that left her happy and inspired.

In recent days, the former combatant has shared on her social media that she is undergoing a series of medical examinations for some health issues, which prompted her to create a space where she could speak on this and many other topics.

“I had a lot of work on my own, very lucky, but yes, with some health concerns, I was seen by two different doctors, they sent me for tests, some for prevention, others for control, I am too afraid of needles. I don’t know.” why I was always afraid, but as they say, “bad things happen,” he said in a conversation with La Teja.

He underwent a medical examination because he had suffered from an illness since the age of fifteen, which he is still struggling with.

“I have polycystic ovary syndrome, so from the age of 15 I was advised to take birth control pills to cure this disease. Two years ago I said, “This is weird,” I had very bad mood swings and a lot of problems that contraceptives cause. I looked for my doctor and she sent me tests and told me to stop taking the pills for five months and when I came back I told her I didn’t want to take the pills again so we were looking for another method.”

Because of this problem, she was sent to the hospital several times, and on another occasion she revealed that she was suffering from a problem with one of her lungs, which was not going well.

The Power Duo Podcast was born out of illness.

A few months ago, she opened up about her experience with birth control on Instagram and was impressed by the response from her followers, so the challenge of creating a safe space to connect and provide guidance on these issues became an issue.

For the project, she joined forces with Dr. Jessica Miranda, and together they created “Powe Dúo,” a podcast in which they will discuss a variety of topics with guests and experts to help and empower women by breaking taboos and ideas of perfection.

“Besides KL Beauty (a beauty salon) which is my brainchild, I have just started a very sweet project with my partner Jessica that is focused on the community of women that will have different implications, one of which is a podcast that will have a little bit of everything. We will have special guests such as psychology and medical experts who will touch on important topics, we will also touch on everyday topics for girls as well as a very wide variety of empowerment topics, but always try to leave something positive in the community. “

Kim added that in addition to podcast episodes, they will be holding events with women every three months, and the money raised from these events will go to charity.

The first three episodes of Power Duo have already been recorded; they will be released every Wednesday, premiering this Wednesday, March 27th. They will be available on various digital platforms such as Spotify, Apple Podcast, Amazon Music and YouTube.

Just last Friday she went with her mother and sister to celebrate the launch of the project, they and God are her support in life, and this year they will be able to fulfill a dream together, the three of them going on a tour of Europe. .

“We are going to see Europe on May 11th, none of us three know about it, my sister is a little more scared because she is afraid of planes, my mom will be her second trip and if God gives me the means to be able to take her and please her, I will do it because she deserves everything and more, just like my sister. I have very good people who work together to help me achieve this dream.”

Although she does not post it much on social networks, she assures that she has a wonderful relationship with God, this is the basis of her life and the most important thing for her.

“For me, God is everything, I put everything I do in His hands and everything happens the way He thinks is best for me. For better or worse, I leave everything in his hands, I go to Bible study on Mondays, and if I’m not logging in from home, I try to be there.”

The former presenter hopes that her project will grow so much that at some point it will be her return to television, but she does not feel stressed or rushed because she is happy and satisfied with her present and knows that tomorrow does not exist.
