Luc Besson, Salma Hayed and Sophie Marceau are invited to the state dinner hosted by Emmanuel Macron on the occasion of Xi Jinping’s visit to France, May 6, 2024.
POLITICS – Casserole is not on the menu, or there is an author of the table. On Monday, May 6, well-known figures from the world of culture, politics and economics were invited to a state dinner organized by the Elysee Palace as part of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to France.
The list of cultural events, according to the list of guests sent by the castle, included designers Jean-Jacques Annaud and Luc Besson. Actress Salma Hayek is married to her husband François-Henri Pinault, as well as the likes of Sophie Marceau and singer Mireille Mathieu. The author of the table is also DJ Jean-Michel Jarre, all together with the architect Jean Nouvel and his company of Chinese origin Lida Guan.
Among the well-known chefs of the company are Bernard Arnault (Louis Vuitton), Xavier Niel (École 42), Nicolas De Villiers (Puy du Fou), Patrick Pouyanne (TotalEnergies), Carlos Tavares (Stellantis). French Football Federation President Philippe Diallo, also an infectious disease specialist and former Covid-related health director Jerome Salomon, was a member of the party.

Xi Jinping and his woman are on the same day as Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron on the Elysee Palace dog until 21:00. Xi Jinping’s overnight visit marked the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries and the return of the stamp for its European premiere in 2019.
